Una mareggiata particolarmente violenta a febbraio 2021 ha causato il crollo di due porzioni di muratura, paramento più esterno e riempimento “a sacco”, di Torre Prarola, una costruzione di origine cinquecentesca in provincia di Imperia. L’evento è stato occasione per l’avvio di un intervento di restauro di urgenza che ha richiesto una progettazione ad hoc del cantiere e delle modalità operative in considerazione del contesto. La posizione del manufatto e la conformazione dell’ambiente circostante hanno indotto all’utilizzo delle modalità operative del Restauro in quota® per la definizione della logistica di cantiere e delle lavorazioni.

A particularly violent storm surge in February 2021 caused the collapse of two portions of brickwork outer vestment and rubble mansory, of Torre Prarola, a building of sixteenth-century origin in the province of Imperia. The event was an opportunity for the start of an emergency restoration intervention that required an ad hoc design of the construction site and the operating methods in view of the context. The location of the building and the shape of the surrounding environment have led to the use of the operating methods of the Restauro in quota® for the definition of site logistics and processing.
